Who we are
Bijou Page (www.bijoupage.com) builds and hosts personal websites. We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact us about privacy at privacy@bijoupage.com.
What we collect
- Enquiry form: the name you give us, your email or phone/WhatsApp number, your message, which demo and template you were looking at, your answers to the consent questions, and the date.
- Report form: the details of your report and, if you choose to give it, how to contact you.
- Where you came from: if you arrive through one of our advertising links, we remember which one (for example, a directory ad) so we know which adverts work. See “Cookies” below.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, photos, ID documents or payment details through these forms.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, using the contact method you chose. You agreed to this on the form.
- To send you occasional news about new templates — only if you ticked that box. You can say stop at any time.
- To investigate and act on reports, including removing content, which is in our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe.
- To understand which of our adverts bring enquiries, which is in our legitimate interest in running the business.
We never sell your information, and we do not contact people who have not asked us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner at any time. Reports are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and any follow-up.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run this website for us: our website host (Vercel) and our database provider (Supabase). They process your information on our instructions. Some of their systems may be outside the UK; where that happens, the transfer is protected by legally approved safeguards. We may also share information where the law requires it.
Cookies
We use one small cookie, uiw_src, only when you arrive through one of our advertising links. It stores the name of that link (nothing about you) for 30 days so your enquiry can be matched to the advert. We use no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email privacy@bijoupage.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
